- Jimmy Buffett. I was surprised to discover how much I was a Jimmy Buffett fan in the wake of his passing. Buffett didn’t have the reputation of a great songwriter, though he was one, and there are plenty of his tunes that I listened to multiple times over the weekend.
- A Jimmy Buffett-themed dinner. It felt appropriate—margaritas, cheeseburgers, key lime pie.
- Discount Tire. I don’t live calling out businesses, but this is a service experience that is always above my expectations. Gotta love specialized businesses.
- How To with John Wilson. Season 3 is as weird as ever, though a little more personal.
- Library holds. I missed always having a book on the hold shelf when I’m New Jersey.
- The Window (Ratboys). What a big album. The tragic and lovely title track has had its chorus lodged in my head for the better part of two days.
- Jupiter. Is visible in the early morning, and my toddler has delighted in pointing it out.
