Now that I’ve started pondering how AI may lead to a surge in RFP responses, I’m having a hard time moving my mind away from its implications.
Once A/E/C marketers are leveraging AI to deliver oodles and oodles of responses…what comes next?
I’m tempted to suggest that the most strategic and thoughtful responses will still win the day…but that feels like wishful thinking.
What are the true differentiators? Or, what will make a response feel like an AI couldn’t possibly have done it?
The first answer that pops into my head:
Video.
Deep fake technology aside—and I’m sure that it’s coming!—video offers a method to communicate real engagement and interest from project teams.
I could imagine a “video cover letter” option giving clients an overview of the team’s qualifications as an alternative to merely reading the possibly-AI-generated cover letter.
I’m sure some teams are already leveraging video in this way…but I’m not!
