- Rain. The amount of rain we got last week was astounding for the Front Range. Our home weather station recorded 3″ in two days, which is a shocking amount for out here. (The Denver region is in a “semi-arid” climate zone.)
- Tilling. Getting ready to xeriscape another section of our lawn involved 20 minutes of forearm-busting labor with a rented tiller from Home Depot. My toddler thought it was pretty cool!
- Shop talk. An abbreviated SMPS committee meeting last week meant that we got to squeeze in 20 minutes of shop talk. Boy, do I love talking about proposals with other marketers.
- ChatGPT brainstorming. I issued guidelines for my firm last week with some ideas for how they can use ChatGPT in their everyday workflow.
- Ordeal by Hunger by George R. Stewart. A grim but incredible account of the Donner Party.
- Mrs. Davis, Episode 1. WOW. Wow, wow, wow. A pilot episode that truly swings for the fences. Excited to see what more is to come.
- Angostura bitters. I may have overdone the bitters in an Old Fashioned on Saturday—but I didn’t mind in the least.
